11th Street Garage:
Located in the center of a block defined by Jefferson Park Avenue, Main Street, 11th Street, and the railroad tracks. The 11th Street Garage is reserved primarily for visitors and patients, with limited parking available for medical center staff with valid permits. The gates are normally down, requiring visitors and patients to take a green ticket upon entering the garage. Garage tickets may be validated at the time of appointment or at the Information Desk.
- Gates Down: Normal Operation. Permit or Garage Ticket required.
- Gates Up: Open parking. Look for posted signs or attendants.
Hospital South: (#12 in section B4 of Web Map B)
Located off 15th Street SW, the Health System South Garage is designated for specific medical center staff. The gates are normally down, requiring a special permit/transponder to gain access.
- Gates Down: Normal Operation. Permit required.
- Gates Up: Open parking During Holidays and/or Events. Look for posted signs or attendants.
- Football Cash Operations: $10.00 parking for Home Football Games. Garage opens 4 hours prior to kickoff.
Hospital East (Lee Street Garage):: (#11 and #13 in sections F4 and E4 of Web Map B)
Located off of Lee Street across from the University Hospital in the center of the Health System, the Lee Street Garage garage is primarily for patient and their visitors parking. These garages are normally attended 24 hours a day, 7 days a week unless otherwise noted.
- Gates Down/Attended : Normal Operation. Gates attended, patients and their visitors only.
- Gates Up/Unattended: Patient Parking. Look for posted signs or attendants.
Central Grounds: (#9 in section B2 of Web Map A)
The Central Grounds Garage, located off Emmet Street, is primarily for visitors and students at a hourly parking rate. This garage is normally attended 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, except during certain holidays, events, and/or school closings.
- Attended/Gates Down: Normal Operation. Gates attended, permits enforced. Hourly parking fees apply.
- Unattended/Gates Up: Open parking. Look for posted signs or attendants.
- Football Cash Operations: $10.00 parking for Home Football Games. Garage opens 4.5 hours prior to kickoff.
Emmet/Ivy: (#6 in section C5 of Web Map F)
The Emmet/Ivy Garage is available for students, faculty, and staff with appropriate permits. The Emmet/Ivy Garage also offers an Occasional Parker Permit.
- Gates Down: Normal Operation. Permit required.
- Permit Holder Overflow/Gates Up: Open parking during events and/or holidays. Tickets may be required. Permits enforced. Look for posted signs or attendants. Please contact us for more information.
